OK guys, Bout of Books is over and to be honest for me, it was a fail! I don’t know what was wrong with me this week but this was my worst reading week, maybe ever. I could not get into reading. I had a really icky week at work due to me being sickish, so much more sluggish and I just did not feel like reading when I got home. Ah well, I’m over the slump now and have been reading like crazy-guess I just picked the wrong week to have a slump ;P
My goal was to read 5 books, in addition of all went well to actually finish the 3 I was currently reading to push it up to 8. I read 3 and started 3.
Here’s what I managed:

- City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare (Jeez I trudged through this so slowly)
- Partials by Dan Wells (I absolutely cheated on my read a thon-I couldn’t help it! I couldn’t stop lol)
- The Gathering by Kelley Armstrong
Started
- Bitter Demons by Sarra Cannon(I loveeee this series!)
- Fallen by Lauren Kate
- The Kill Order by James Dashner
Shelved as Did not Finish
- Fifty Shades of Grey by E L James(I am so over this book – 16 pages in. Not seeing the hype here)
One thing I did want to accomplish was to write a review on every book I finished-which I did succeed at! I posted my review of City of Ashes & The Gathering and have my Partials review waiting until the end of the month. I am happy I got the reviews done because I’ve been falling behind.
So that’s the wrap up for my Bout of Books! How did everyone else do? I’ll definitely be participating in the next one!
