Hi Everyone! The weekend is drawing to a close 🙁 I hate when Sunday evening comes and you have to start preparing for work the next morning.. ah well, needs to be done!
I was awarded the Liebster Blog Award by the lovely Lauren at The Headless Owl. The Liebster Blog Award is awarded to new blogs with less than 200 followers. How is works is “Award winners share 11 facts about themselves, answer the 11 questions asked by the blogger who tagged them, come up with 11 of their own questions and tag 11 more bloggers with the award.” (taken from Lauren’s site where she also quoted YA Fiction & Whiskey Sours).
I’m going to answer the 11 questions that Lauren asked me however, at this time I am not tagging anymore bloggers, which is awful however every new blogger I subscribe to has already been tagged for this award! I hate not passing it on at this time, however as I find more and more book blogs I will come back to this when I find some to pass it on to!

If you could meet any living author, who would you choose and why?
J.K Rowling. She started my addiction to wizards, witches and all things enchanted as a child!
Why Young Adult?
I have actually only really gotten into young adult within the last 8 months. I love young adult because it’s just so addictive! There is so many different sub genres and worlds to discover!
What is your favorite bookstore or library and why?
Well I really only purchase from Chapters Indigo. It’s due to convenience and also because of selection. Also I can order any of the books online that I can’t get at my usual chapters and get them delivered there free from shipping!

Why and when did you start blogging?
I started blogging years ago, when I was about 14. I continued until I was about 21 and then I stopped. I’ve just started again June 2012. I decided to start book blogging because I am so passionate about books and love to talk about them. Unfortunately most people in my social circle do not enjoy reading so online is a wonderful outlet for me to share my love for it!
If you could go anywhere in the world right now, where would you go and what book would you take?
I would honestly go back to Nova Scotia. I would take my tablet which houses alot of my Kindle books, so I’m cheating 😛 But I would probably choose to read the Fifty Shades book while I was there, lol.
Describe your dream book.
Beautiful cover, 1000 pages, smells like a library book and about witches.

A Need so Beautiful, Insurgent, Chasing Harry Winston, Born Wicked, Fallen, and Clockwork Angel
What is your favorite food?
Cheese, definitely cheese! And Paneer… which is technically cheese 😛
Are you a city person or a country person?
I am 100% a country person… I may live in the city right now, but I hateeee it!
11 Facts about Me
-My cat is my baby <3
-I love hair… cutting it, styling it, hair products, everything. I’m going to be taking Hair Design this year, hopefully.
-I love Indian food
-I love basketball. My boyfriend and I spend lovely evenings just staying in and watching a Raptors game
-When I was a child my parents could not separate me from my books so I would go to sleep with towers of books in my crib. This may have been due to the fact that my younger sister used to chew the edges off my beloved books.
-I miss driving so much. One of the things I hate about living in the city, is it’s so inconvenient to drive here.
-I’m terrified to lend people books. I’ve had beloved books never returned, or returned in awful condition. I love sharing the story with people but I’m so on edge until I get it back.
-I spend too much time on the computer, procrastinating my life away
-I love flying. I could fly for days, I find it so relaxing
-I love cleaning
-Christmas is my favorite holiday and winter is my favorite season. I hate the summer. I hate heat and sun. I love winter, freezing rain, rain, snow, slush, overcast skies, all of it. Maybe I should have been a vampire 😉
