Stacking the Shelves
Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews where you showcase all of the books you received for the week, whether it be physical or electronic books!

Hello 🙂 It’s the Thanksgiving weekend in here Canada and I am so excited to have a nice three days off from work! It’s been a bit since I did my last stacking the shelves and well… I got a few books the past few weeks 😛 I did get on Book Outlet (formally Book Closeouts) again, which turned out to be a rather large box of books! I have to pay almost $15.00 shipping so I figured I might as well pick up a few to maximize on that amount (or at least that is how I just justified it!). I also wanted to purchase copies of a few books that I have read, loved and want to own as well as I needed to rebuy a few books that I had lent out and not gotten back (Boo! I’m not doing this anymore!!).  I probably won’t be getting any more books for quite some time, save for a few that are on my must-read-straight-away list for fall because I have a lot of great books here that need to be READ! I have been having quite a fun time playing the Harry Potter Lego (Yrs 1 to 4) game for the PS3. Has anyone played this? Nick came home with that and Books of Spells(which I haven’t tried yet) for me last weekend and I was over the moon! Clearly, he knows me well… anything HP he spies he tries to snatch up for me <3 I am less than exciting this week, I haven’t been doing anything but working, sleeping and OH! watching Castle. Hannah and Sharon have gotten me addicted to this show, it’s AWESOME! Since I’m just starting I’m only on season 2, I have a few good weeks of watching left 🙂 Anyhow… enough rambling… onto the books!

    • I agree Jenni, Emily Murdoch is a very sweet! If You Find Me was actually one of the books that I had already read for a review but I needed to get my own copy! It’s one of my favorites of the year 🙂

  1. Oooh that ‘click to open’ thing is really cool! Your haul is so awesome 😀 I really want to read Fangirl, Slated, and Daughter of Smoke & Bone. I already have Partials and Crewel but haven’t read it yet. Hopefully soon though. I hope you end up enjoying all of them!

    • Thanks Leigh, I normally don’t include it but the list was just too long so I figured I would hide it for those who didn’t want to see it 😛 I’ve read both Partials and Crewel and loved both of them! I think I need to reread Crewel before Altered comes out though because it’s been a long time since I’ve read it!

  2. Some really great books on here. I really want to read Fangirl as I have been seeing it so much lately. I read and reviewed All The Truth That’s In Me and I really enjoyed it. I also downloaded The Summer I Found You and I’m hoping it’s really good. I really wanted to love Partials, but I was really disappointed with it.
Enjoy all of your reads! My STS

    • Thanks 🙂 I’ve started Fangirl and it’s actually quite funny. I was nervous about reading it because of the hype but I’m enjoying it so far! I’m actually the opposite of you… I did not enjoy All the Truth but I enjoyed Parials 😛 Thanks for stopping by !!

      • Actually… I’m not sure why but I read “All the Truth that’s In Me” as “The Truth About You and Me”… weird 😛 I have NOT read All the Truth yet, but I’ve heard great things and I’m glad that you enjoyed it!!!

    • Crewel is SO good, I can’t wait to see what you think of it. I’m liking Fangirl so far, I really enjoy the humor in it. Thanks for stopping by Jillyn!

  3. Omigosh, I don’t even think I can comment on the whole whack of books that you got (which is awesome, in case that’s not obvious) because YOU’RE PLAYING THE LEGO HARRY POTTER GAME!!!! Omigosh — I was TOTALLY obsessed with that game before Marko was born (haven’t had much time for gaming since then — barely enough time to read!) and I was LOVING IT. I think I’m up to year 4, just after the dragon challenge! I will get back into it, maybe over the holidays when I don’t have to spend every free moment doing homework *sigh*

    • OMG, Melissa! I had no idea you were playing it as well!!! I am freaking OBSESSED with it right now. The Harry Potter games really cater to my hunter/gatherer type of personality I think, and the lego one is just AH! I love it. My BF and I are arguing over the PS3 now because he didn’t think I would be this in love with it 😛 I hope you do pick it up again at Christmas, I will surely still be playing it because I’m always obsessed with finishing these games to 100% (and I’m only at Crabbe & Goyle in Year 2 – 15%!!!!)!!

    • Actually Hannah, when I seen in at the book store, I searched it on GR and you were the first rating that popped up and it sold me 😀 I’m so glad you liked it.. I need to read it soon!!!
