Stacking the Shelves
Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews where you showcase all of the books you received for the week, whether it be physical or electronic books!

YAYYY!!! It’s the long weekend 🙂 We have four days off and I could not be more excited for them! Today we are going to pick up our keys to the condo! I’m super excited to see all the renovations that were done and then the rest of the weekend will be largely devoted to packing… not so fun 😛 I hope to get a good start on it so I can be a little less stressed and I also hope to get a good amount of reading done!

I’ve been really trying to cut back on the amount of books I’m buying so we can put forth that extra money towards fun new decorating stuff, as well as I have cut down on requesting review books. I need to focus on reading the ones I have and also my TBR! I won a few giveaways the past few weeks though and that thrilled me! I also was the Blue team winner for the YASH Spring event and I nearly fainted when I found out – I won 25 books! A lot of them are releases that I am extremely excited for so they will be coming in over the next couple of weeks! Anyways… onto the books.

*Won giveaway held by The Bookish Daydreamer, Sab the Book Eater, and The Reading Nook Reviews!

I had borrowed this from the library a few weeks ago but I returned it when I found out I won this giveaway, as it had a very large waiting list. I left off at about 17% so I can’t wait to dive back into this one 🙂

I purchased Nantucket Blue because I’ve been dying to read this one. Cass adores it and is always book pushing it on me so I couldn’t pass it up when it was on Kindle daily deal! Pointe & A Breathe of Frost were 2014 releases that were highly anticipated so I had to grab those up when they came onto my libraries Overdrive! Tempus I had only recently heard about but it sounded so intriguing and I am very excited I won a copy of it 🙂

  1. I’m dying to get my hands on a copy of A Mad, Wicked Folly! It sounds SO GOOD. I kind of want to buy Nantucket Blue, but I don’t even know what it’s about and the cover doesn’t really appeal to me. I’ll wait until you’ve read it, I think XD

    • From what I’ve read Amber, A Mad, Wicked Folly IS so good!! I can’t wait to pick it up again, I’m just trying to clear out my library books before they expire haha. Oh this will sound bad, but I’m not entirely sure what Nantucket Blue is about either haha. Cass(Books with Cass) has raved so much about it that I just picked it up haha. I had read the summary before so I did know, it’s a summer type read 😛 wow… that sounds terrible as I write it, that’s a sign I need to stop BUYING! I will let you know how it turns out though!!

    • EEK! And I just realized that I did not resubscribe to your feed when you moved to WordPress! When I clicked on your blog and seen your book haul post, I thought, “Hey, that didn’t show up in my feed” so I searched and the last post was 45 DAYS AGO! Fail on my part !!! All is well now though haha.

  2. You’ve won a really interesting giveaway this week! I really want to read it myself at some point. 🙂 Happy reading and have a great weekend!

    • Thanks Mel 🙂 I have gotten a bit into it already and it’s SO good! I love the rebellious nature of the main character, that’s usually a win for me. And I agree, so many bloggers are raving about it!

    • Oh, I am so happy to hear that you loved Nantucket Blue as well! I’m not normally a contemp person either but one of my dearest blogging friends loved it so I needed to pick it up 🙂

    • Oh, that is one of my least things I’m looking forward to! There are just SO many lol. Ah well, on the plus side it will be fun reorganizing them 🙂

    • OH, I was LOVING it when I left off 🙂 I’m hoping to start it this week… I’m really dying to jump back into it!!! I will definitely tweet you when I start reading again!!! Omg.. and did you see inside the dust jacket? FREAKING BEAUTIFUL! I nearly want to take the thing off and put it on my shelf naked haha.
