Stacking the Shelves
Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews where you showcase all of the books you received for the week, whether it be physical or electronic books!

Hi Everyone! I am back in action 🙂  I did not intend at all to totally disappear over the past week however I did, so I will be spending the entire weekend on my blog, catching up on comments, drafting posts and all of that fun stuff. I started with a personal trainer on Monday and OMG. I had no idea I would be soooooo spent every night. I know I won’t be like that once I get used to it but wow, I was exhausted. As soon as I got home and ate, I was ready to drop. I basically just layed in my bed and read until I passed out, lol. SO, that’s the story of my disappearance.

I didn’t really get many books over the past few weeks which is great because I’m finally getting a hold of my outstanding pile, now here’s to hoping I don’t obtain too many in the next two weeks 😛

    • I hope you get accepted too Jade 🙂 Pivot Point was AMAZING, I agree. It was one of my favorite debuts and altogether favorite books so far in 2013 🙂 Thanks for following and stopping in !

  1. I LOVED Grave Mercy. I know you don’t really do historicals, but this one was really good. And Duval is utterly swoon-worthy. 🙂

I am reading Truly, Madly, Deadly right now and so far really like the creepy vibe of the story. And I can’t wait to read The Distance Between Us! Hopefully soon; I’m going to try to squeeze it in within the next couple of weeks.

    Happy reading!

    • Merin I feel like I’m getting a bit more into historicals now!! I loved The Infernal Devices series, The Beautiful and the Cursed… and I’m thinking about picking up A Great and Terrible Beauty!!! I don’t know maybe my tastes are changing a bit 😛 Grace Mercy SOUNDS like it would appeal to me, which in itself is very different than normal for me, so I can’t wait to start listening 🙂

I need to go stalk your Goodreads for a bit. I have been so ABSENT.. I need to see what you’ve read lately, we always love the same ones. Plus I’m so behind on commenting you have probably finished TMD my now lol.

      • Thanks 🙂 I just “pocketed” it for when I finish.. I don’t want read it entirely until I get it finished lol.

Ok, you’ve convinced me entirely. I will pick up Gemma Doyle! I’m going to add it to by September tbr 🙂

  2. I thought Truly, Madly, Deadly was, an okay read, nothing that good sadly.
The Distance Between Us also looks like the perfect summer read.
Enjoy all your lovely books! (:

    My STS

    • I’ve heard a lot of mixed things about it Kelly, sadly your not the only one :S It seems like it would be a quick read though so we will see 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!

    • Oh Melissa… you will probably finish this before me!! You always are so much quicker on getting caught up than me lol. Regardless… I can’t wait to see what we BOTH think of it 😀

    • I am so picky with audio books as well! I haven’t actually bought one myself because I’m so picky so I just stick to borrowing them from the library or getting the ones from Sync YA. I love the Harry Potter narrator though 🙂 His Peeves voice is by far my favorite 😛
