Well it’s here 🙂 The start of Summer of Stand Alones! I am super excited to participate in this challenge because I am in desperate need of some non committal books. I love series but sometimes I’d just like to move on after I finish the book! I also have a load of stand alones on my shelf that I never seem to get time to read because I am too wrapped up trying to finish series so this is a great time to pay some attention to them 🙂
I’ve pledged to read 15 books which I think is reasonable. I have until September 1st!
I have created a static page under “Challenges” to track my progress as I go along as well as the monthly update posts. I’m not going to list my books here as there is a TON on it so be sure to check out my Summer of Stand Alones page to see what I have as options!
My Recommendation: The DUFF by Kody Keplinger. I loved this book, it’s hilarious, emotional and just a great read!
