I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and is gearing up for an awesome new year!! I’m really loving reflecting back this past week on my “bookish” 2012.

2013 is looking like an awesome year in books, there are so many titles I found it really hard to choose which ones. Obviously there were some series I will be continuing but for the new releases – wow, hard decision to make!!

Requiem by Lauren Oliver - Top 10 Books I’m Looking Forward To in 2013  The Ruining - Top 10 Books I’m Looking Forward To in 2013  Dare You To by Katie McGarry - Top 10 Books I’m Looking Forward To in 2013  Mind Games by Kiersten White  Unremembered
Requiem by Lauren Oliver
The Ruining by Anna Collomore
Dare to You by Katie McGarry
Mind Games by Kiersten White
UnRemembered by Jessica Brody

Then you were Gone  Hysteria  The Program  Truth or Dare by Jacqueline Green  The Dollhouse Asylum
Then You Were Gone by Lauren Strasnick
Hysteria by Megan Miranda
The Program by Suzanne Young
Truth or Dare by Jacqueline Green
The Dollhouse Asylum by Mary Gray

They all look soooo good!!! I think I’m really going to like a lot of contemporaries that are coming out. Quite a few of them seem to be mystery esque contemporaries and those are one of my favorites !! Also there are quite a few dystopians coming out that really interest me – I was on a bit of a dystopian burnout this year, I think I read too many of them, haha.

What are you most looking forward to?

Happy Reading!
xo, Lauren

  1. Requiem has got to be one of my most anticipated books of 2013!! Lauren Oliver is simply a genius.

P.S. Just wondering how do you get all the book covers to show up all nice and in a straight line? Because I’ve tried a million times but can never seem to do it.

    • OMG… Requiem has my most anticipated too Kaina! Goshhh, I’m dying for it… and I just read Annabel with the Requiem sneak peak… so now it’s even worse, lol.

To tell you the truth… I just do it in the wordpress editor. I normally don’t edit the html in my posts, unless something looks wonky but the WordPress post editor aligns them perfectly. I can give you the coding from the post and you can try that out if you like!!

      • O_O No way, me too! The sneak peek made me go crazy, I actually didn’t know Annabel had it until I saw it in the Table Of Contents, I had to restrain myself not to read that first instead of the actual story. Now my want to get my hands on Requiem is even worse as well 😀

As for the coding you would be like my hero for that!! No joke. I am constantly fighting with Blogger with the pictures to the point that I have to go to Picasa and make a whole collage just so it’ll look presentable. Thank you so much!!!

        • Bahaha.. I didn’t even see the Requiem preview! It just popped up at the end as a surpise!!!!

I’m going to email you the coding! Eeek… having to do it in Picasa is a lot of extra work!!!
