Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is  a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish.

Top Ten Series I’d Like To Start But Haven’t Yet

Honestly… I could list forever with this topic so to narrow it down I’ve only chosen series that have quite a few books out or are close to finishing. There are loads of series where I’ve been dying to read but only have the first book published but I’ve left those out. When I was going through Goodreads trying to narrow it down I realized there are WAY to many series. Where are all the standalones?? Anyhow…

The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare
*I absolutely adore The Mortal Instruments and I’ve heard this was even better!

Bloodlines series by Richelle Mead
*Honestly, I am unsure why I haven’t picked this up… I LOVED Vampire Academy!

Unearthly series by Cynthia Hand
*This will be on my April list actually, I need a new Angel series <3

The Wolves of Mercy Falls by Maggie Steifvater
*I’ve heard mixed reviews on Shiver so I’m interested to see what I think.
Heist Society Series by Ally Carter
*JEEZ! Ocean’s Eleven-esque contemporary girly book… *dies*

Wither  Eve  Blue Bloods  Top Ten Tuesday  Top Ten Tuesday
The Chemical Garden by Lauren DeStefano
*I am glad this one has been finished so I can read it in one fell swoop… I’ve heard it’s amazing 🙂

Eve Series by Anna Carey
*…I’ve heard this was AWESOME and I need a dystopian that is like that… I’ve been feeling kinda meh on them.

Blue Bloods series by Melissa de la Cruz
*Blue Bloods intimidates me quite frankly… there are SO many of them.

The Iron Fey by Julie Kagawa
*Why is there no time… for ALL THE BOOKS, lol. I got the first one in ebook… and now it’s so beautiful I want the physical copy 😛

Hex Hall series by Rachel Hawkins
*Eepss… witches! Boarding school! Gagh!

Too many books, too little time!! Have you read these series? What do you think of them!!!!! What were your picks this week?

Happy Reading,
xo Lauren

  1. The Iron Fey is great, espeically since it’s now a complete series and you won’t have to wait for any new books. Julia Kagawa does an awesoe job with her world building and explaining her ideas of the world of the Fae. Great for anyone who likes their faeries a little darker than Tinkerbell.

    • I love the sound of darker faeries. I also love how it’s complete because waiting kills me… even though I have loads to read in the mean while lol.

      Thanks for stopping by Chantelle!

  2. Unearthly is on my list as well! I don’t really like angels but all of twitter has been talking about how amazing this series is so I’m definitely interested.

  3. I really need to start Unearthly too!!! With all the chatter about it lately, it’s definitely jumped up higher on my list!
I really liked The Chemical Garden trilogy! I feel like a lot of trilogies lose their way but I felt like it finished strong 🙂
    Really great list!!!

    • I’m so glad to hear The Chemical Garden finished strong… I hate when it doesn’t and it just leaves you NEEDY!

      Thanks for stopping by Brittany!

  4. Ha, you and I always seem to have the same books to read! I need to do the Infernal Devices books, The Chemical Garden trilogy, Unearthly AND Hex Hall! Maybe we just found next month’s readalong somewhere amongst those? 😀

    • Haha, I know … we do always have the same books on our TTTs! YES… definitely one of those should be next months readalong 🙂 We will need something to tie us over until NEXT YEAR, haha.

  5. In my opinion TID are not as good as TMI but they’re not bad either. Bloodlines though… I just read all 3 and omg I love them so much, favorites for sure.

Happy reading, thanks for stopping by!

  6. Melissa @ Writer Grrl Reads

I adored the Chemical Garden series. Lauren’s writing is so beautifully horrific. I had a hard time getting into Eve though, because I found the storyline to be too similar to Wither, but less pretty in the writing style. And Infernal Devices IS good, but I’ve only read book one thus far 🙂
