Waiting on Wednesday(1)

Waiting on Wednesday is a meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. It spotlights upcoming releases that you are eagerly anticipating.

This week my pick is….

The Kill Order by James Dashner Waiting on Wednesday(1)The Kill Order by James Dashner

Release Date: August 14th 2012

“The prequel to the New York Times bestselling Maze Runner series.

Before WICKED was formed, before the Glade was built, before Thomas entered the Maze, sun flares hit the earth and mankind fell to disease.

Mark and Trina were there when it happened, and they survived. But surviving the sun flares was easy compared to what came next. Now a disease of rage and lunacy races across the eastern United States, and there’s something suspicious about its origin. Worse yet, it’s mutating, and all evidence suggests that it will bring humanity to its knees.

Mark and Trina are convinced there’s a way to save those left living from descending into madness. And they’re determined to find it—if they can stay alive. Because in this new, devastated world, every life has a price. And to some, you’re worth more dead than alive.”

Oh my gooodnessssss…. I am so excited for this book. It is only 14 days away from being released, but I don’t think I can contain myself. I absolutely adored The Maze Runner trilogy, except for the fact there were still so many unanswered questions so I’m hoping that the prequel will answer some of them! Too excited…!!!

What are you anticipating???

Happy Reading

  1. I got so angry at the last book because of the reason you mentioned… there were way too many questions unanswered. I haven’t decided whether or not to pick up this book! Thanks though for sharing!

    • Exactly! I rated the last book 4/5 due to that very reason. I will check out your blog Christina, thanks for commenting and the follow!

    • Oh you have to! It’s an amazing series, I would say maybe wait to read the prequel thought because one of the fun things about this series is it’s shrouded in mystery so it keeps you hooked. I think the prequel will reveal a lot of unanswered questions about the series!
