Well here we are, already moving into the Spring portion of the year (ugh, haha!). I’m sure everyone is sick of hearing me talk about how I dislike this upcoming season when everyone is so excited so I will (mostly) skip that part 🙂 This is normally where I lose my momentum for reading, I think it’s partially due to the fact I feel overall less energy and much more lethargic so I’m trying to keep that at bay by picking books that I am VERY excited about for the most part. I hope to read more than 8 books this month, as always, but if I just read these ones I will count this successful!
1. Dead Girls Society by Michelle Krys • I added this to my TBR way back when it was first released because it seemed like a YA thriller that I would be just my tastes. I’m currently reading it right now, and it’s ok so far but I was expecting more… we will see!
2. The Hanging Girl by Eileen Cook • This wasn’t on my radar for a while but the end of last year I kept seeing it pop up and immediately added it. It’s again, right up my alley as far as tastes go and another YA thriller! Can’t wait to get started on this one.
3. The Valiant by Lesley Livingston • OMG THAT COVER! I have no idea why I have been sitting on reading this for so long. I love Lesley Livingston and I am sure I will love this one!
4. The Wicked Deep by Shea Ernshaw • YES! This is currently sitting in the library waiting for me to pick up my hold and I CANNOT WAIT! Witches, duh, I AM HERE FOR THIS. I really hope it’s just as good as I expect it to be.
5. 99 Days by Katie Cotugno • I LOVED this back when I first read it but I honestly remember barely anything. I read it right at the time when I was stuck in this massive blogging and reading slump so I’m not surprised that it didn’t stick too well in my mind. I need to reread this before picking up the sequel!
6. 9 Days & 9 Nights by Katie Cotugno • And the sequel 🙂 Even though I don’t remember much from 99 days, I remember that I loved it so I am so excited to read these two back to back.
7. The Good Liar by Catherine McKenzie • I had really hoped to read this before release date but alas I did not. I just couldn’t keep my grabby hands off the new releases from the library, haha. I’m really looking forward to reading this one, especially since it’s my only adult thriller on this list – a huge difference from the previous few months!
8. The Cruel Prince by Holly Black • EHHHHHHHH! I am essentially just screaming every time I look at this book. I CANNOT WAIT TO READ IT. This is in my top five most anticipated for the year and I AM READY.

I got 99 days as an arc and still haven’t read it. I’m hoping that the sequel will motivate me to read it.
