Happy New Year everyone 🙂 I’m so excited for another year of blogging & reading. I plan to read a lot more books in 2013 than I did in 2012… I didn’t really start reading a lot in 2012 until May(which is strange for me because I usually read soooo much) because I was so busy with work last year. I also am looking forward to bettering my blog and interacting more in the book blogging community. I met so many amazing bloggers this year and I’m so thankful for every visitor & comment I’ve had so far!
December Recap
December was not a great reading month for me. I was so, soooo busy this December.. more so than I normally am and I just couldn’t find a lot of time for reading. I read an insanely small amount of books compared to previous months.

I gave you my picks for Top Ten New-To-Me authors in 2012 and Top Ten Books I Wouldn’t Mind Santa Bringing Me.
I also took part in several book blitz’s that were sooo much fun: Fang Girl, the Spellbound series & Phoebe and the Year of Four! I loved taking part in the book blitz’s, reading the excerpts and seeing all the interviews. I also participated in one cover reveal for Deeper We Fall by Chelsea M. Cameron.
I participated in a week of looking back with posting 4 out of 5 times that week: 2013 Books I’m Looking Forward To, Best Book Boyfriends, Best 2012 Covers & Best 2012 Reads. and I also posted my choices in the 2012 End of Year Book Survey.
2012 Recap
Since I’ve been doing monthly wrap up posts I don’t really have a lot more to add here. Basically the biggest accomplishment in 2012 was starting my blog! I also really loved switching over to WordPress(as much work as it was) and am really happy that I made that decision.
I met two authors this year Kelley Armstrong & Lesley Livingston and that was amazing. I loved interacting on twitter with authors and I jumped around whenever they retweeted me.
Unfortunatly, I did not complete my Goodreads Reading Challenge. I read 86 books in 2012 but I had hoped to read 100. Ah Well… it’s due to the reason above… I didn’t read for the first 5 months barely. I’m going to read 115 for 2013 though… and that’s a deal !!
I’ve had so many amazing “firsts” in 2012 for blogging and I cannot wait to have another year of fun! I loved meeting so many people with similar interests: books.
Thanks so much to everyone that subscribed to me & commented on my posts in 2012 <3
YAY! What a great year you’ve had! Here’s to 2013 being even better — filled with lots of bloggy fun and great reads =)
Yay 🙂 I’m pumped for an amazing year of reading… I have high expectations, lol. And it’s going to be an awesome year for you too – especially when your little bookworm comes 😉
