Phew, I’m here… a little late but I’m here 🙂 I decided to participate in the reviewathon instead of the readathon, well because my reading is sporadic the last few weeks and I am in desperate need of getting some reviews up and scheduled. I will be taking a bit of a vacation in 2 weeks while my mother is here, so I want to have everything scheduled and set to go so I don’t have to worry about trying to get new content up, and this is a perfect way to get it done. Reviews are, by far, the most work for me so this will be a busy few days. I don’t anticipate getting everything done, but I’d like to get at least a good portion of my list completed…
1. Write Review & Schedule Reviews:
Finding It by Cora Carmack3:59 by Gretchen McNeil- Dangerous Girls by Abigail Haas
- The Last Academy by Anne Applegate
- The Distance Between Us by Kasie West
- Two-Way Street by Lauren Barnholdt
- Linked by Imogen Howsen
- Decked With Holly by Marni Bates
2. Draft Review Posts for:
- Becoming by Samantha Summers
- Hushed by Kelley York
Crash Into You by Katie McGarry- Pawn by Aimee Carter
- The Promise of Amazing by Robin Constantine
- Northern Bites by Nikki Jefford
Are you participating? There is still time to sign up, so if you’re interested be sure to pop over to The Book Monsters! What are your goals for the reviewathon?
Great goals, Lauren! I’m almost done with one of my goals and have started drafting a few reviews, so think I’m off to a strong start. Good luck!
Thank you 😀 That’s great that you have almost completed a goal!! I haven’t really got much of a start yet on mine but I plan on spending the better part of tomorrow getting things done, so we will see !!
There’s something to be said about getting ahead, especially when you have plans coming up! I love that you put drafts in there too, I need to figure out what I’ll be reading soon and make drafts as well. It really helps and I feel like reviews are taking me twice as long when they are not set up ahead of time. Hope you get all of those checked off!
Thanks Kristen 😀 Drafting is honestly the part that takes the most out of me, so I hope that if I get that out of the way I won’t be so neglectful 😛 I absolutely agree that they take twice as long with out it… I wish I could snap my fingers and all the links are SEO and EVERYTHING just went in 😛
Wow, I’m new to the whole blogging world so I didn’t know about the reviewathon but good luck! Looks like some great books to review!
Thanks Jan 🙂 This is actually the first time I’ve participated in reviewathon, but I think they have had it before as well. welcome to the community!! it’s so much fun 😀
Ooh you’re making good progress! I did note realize just how many books I still needed to read, in addition to all the review ones. So that kind of hindered me lol.
Can’t wait to read your review on the Distance Between Us! Did you like it? I really loved that book 🙂
Anyway, happy reviewing! Keep it up 😉
Isn’t that the worse realization in the middle of a readathon? That happened to me during the Ho-Ho-Ho Readathon, and it was a bit saddening 🙁 I LOVED The Distance Between Us! Caymen is actually one of my favorite characters thus far in a contemporary 🙂
Thanks so much for stopping by Diamond!!
[…] cute, Christmas-y read and it definitely put my excitement up a few notches I also participated in The Monster Reviewathon. I didn’t get all of my goals completed because I became ill (I’m all better now!), but […]
