I’ve been absent for going on two months, and for all the best reasons. I’ve been growing a little reader. I’ve been impossibly sick, can’t read a word of my normal books, spend all my time sleeping and I wouldn’t change a thing.

What this… midweek? Weekend?

I’ve been a bit absent on here because I’ve been on holidays! I haven’t went any where but I’ve spent it doing a few projects around the house that needed doing and relaxing.

I’m hoping to head into the weekend reading, since I’ve not been doing much of it and my reading definitely is heading towards some Fall reads. I’m currently like 40 percent into Pucking Around and loving it (surprisingly, given that it’s a hockey romance), just a bit into The Pumpkin Spice Cafe (and also enjoying it!) and haven’t started The Coven yet (but need to since it has to be returned very soon).

I’m also spending far too long picking out bookmarks now since I have so many choices. These are from @just.inspired.shop fall collection and I am loving them. Also the Halloween collection just dropped today and it is amazing!! If you purchase, you can use losetime10 for a discount at checkout!

August Wrap Up

Well this is the shortest wrap up I’ve ever done I think 😂

I didn’t get a ton of reading done, but I did start alot more books and also read a lot of non fiction books largely about nutrition, I won’t review them here 🙃

August was a whirlwind for me, it went by so fast and other things were pulling me away from bookstagram. I hope to be back at it for September since it’s FALL NOW!

🍂Fall Haul🍁

Well this went a little differently than expected 😂 I went to get a couple things that were NOT books for myself and well… I left with two random very fall books. Both were not on my TBR but have caught my eye many times.

The Pumpkin Spice Cafe is both the strangest choice for me, and not haha. I just keep seeing it and I’ve decided I’m reading it today.

I also got my order in yesterday from @just.inspired.shop fall launch, and I am thrilled. When I saw that there was going to be stationary, I was counting down the minutes. I got some more fall bookmarks (some not pictured because they are gifts), some stickers and then the notepad and sticky duo. I love everything so much. Next weekend I’m putting up decor and I’ll just continue to live in this bubble of Autumn happiness!

The library always gets me, or atleast my holds do 😂

Both of these are high on my TBR. The Coven is perfect for my fall reading list, and I want to read The Last Namsara before Kristin Ciccarelli’s signing in September.

I’m really attempting try before I buy and KU and the library helps so much with that!

I know most people savour summer until the last day but that’s not me. One day of summer is much too long.

Born Wicked has been on my TBR for way, way too long… has anyone read it? It pairs perfectly with this @just.inspired.shop bookmark from the Fall product drop. Audiobook Review: That One Night by Emily Rath

I’ve been wanting to read this series for awhile despite the fact sports romances are often not my jam. I like Emily Rath so so much from her TikTok, she’s an author at BB4E, I will definitely be wanting to meet her.

This novella is SPICY. I’m listening to this and now Pucking Around on my drives to and from work mostly and there have been several times I’m thinking… can anyone hear this? 😂

I liked the characters, I liked the plot and this set up for the first book. I won’t go into it too much because it’s a novella but this is a fun one and perfect lead in to Pucking Around.
