YAYYY!!! Readathons! I am in SUCH a readathon mood lately so I was thrilled when I saw that there would be another round of Tome Topple AND a Canadian readathon in July. I was actually planning on doing a separate post for each readathon but it’s been so hot the last few days I have been remarkably lazy, haha. So… one post it is!
Tome Topple Readathon – Round 6
June 29th to July 12th

*Hosted by Sam, Adriana, Sarah-Jane, Sian, and Caz*
There are 5 challenges for the Tome Topple readathon and I’m hoping to complete 4 of them! It’s a bit ambitious but I’m hopefully going to get all of them completed. I have a few options for some of the challenges so it will be mostly based on what I feel like at the time).
1. Read more than 1 tome
2. Read a graphic novel (still over 500 pages!) – Blankets by Craig Thompson
3. Read a tome that is part of a series – Winter by Marissa Meyer, Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff, Queen of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas
4. Buddy read a tome (Not participating in a buddy read).
5. Read an adult novel – The Way The Crow Flies by Ann Marie MacDonald, The Witches of New York by Ami McKay

I am planning on completing ALL of these challenges. I am Canadian, so for me, I think it’s important to push myself to read books for all five of these challenges. I should be reading more Canadian authors as there are SO MANY amazing authors across this country. I again have a few options for some of the challenges and a few of them fit in with Tome Topple as well! A lot of my books fit into other categories as well so I think I will end up completing all of the challenges even if I don’t read five books but I am really aiming to read separate books!
1. Read a book with red on the cover – Jar of Hearts by Jennifer Hilliard, Bitten by Kelley Armstrong
2. Read a book by a Canadian woman – The Way The Crow Flies by Ann Marie MacDonald (Actually, I just realized that I am only reading books by woman authors! Unintentional, but YAY!)
3. Read a book with “E” and “H” in the title – The Witches of New York by Ami McKay
4. Read a book by an indigenous author – The Marrow Thieves by Cherie Dimaline
5. Read a book set in a province you’ve never visited – Never Let You Go by Chevy Stevens (British Columbia!)
Are you participating in either of these readathons? Link up your TBR’s! I love reading other TBR posts/watching videos of TBR posts!
