Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish.
Wow… It was so hard for me to pick ten books! I’m not sure how I narrowed it down, I have read so many awesome books in 2013. A lot of my picks aren’t new books, but I am insanely behind reading because I started reading Young Adult SOO much later than everyone else. There are also a few debuts from this year that are outstanding. Anyway, I did manage to narrow it down and here is what I’ve come up with!!
Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl {Goodreads | My review}
Hopeless by Colleen Hoover {Goodreads | My review}
Pivot Point by Kasie West {Goodreads | My review}
If You Find Me by Emily Murdoch {Goodreads | My review}
Dash & Lily’s Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn & David Levithan {Goodreads | My review}
Cinder by Marissa Meyer {Goodreads | My review}
Clockwork Angel AND Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare {Goodreads | My reviews – 1 & 2}
Dare You To by Katie McGarry {Goodreads | My review}
Another Little Piece by Kate Karyus Quinn {Goodreads | My review}
Hex Hall series by Rachel Hawkins {Goodreads | My reviews – 1, 2 & 3}
What were your picks this week? Link up !!! I’m always eager to add more books to my TBR 😛
Happy Reading!
xo Lauren
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEP PIVOT POINT!!!!!!!!!!! ♥ Haha, that makes me so freaking happy. Definitely one of my favorite reads this year as well. (And I’m with you on the starting YA so much later than everyone else thing *sigh*) Cinder made my list as well, since it’s just so freaking awesome. The others I haven’t actually read, but Hex Hall and Hopeless are on my TBR 🙂 Glad to see you like them so much. Great list!
Don’t you always feel so behind because you started later?! Jeez… I do. Hex Hall is SO MUCH FUN! And Hopeless is… omg.. love <3 You need to read it like NOW!!! 😛
Loved If You Find Me! Clockwork Angel was awesome too! Also Hex Hall and Another Little Piece. Great choises this week!
Thanks Katrina! IF YOU FIND ME was amazingggg!! I didn’t expect it all which made it all the more better 😀
Oh I know!!! It completely rocked my world.
Great list! Cinder is one of my favorite books of all time, so I definitely like seeing it on your list here. I also really enjoyed Pivot Point. 🙂
Cinder was fantastic! I didn’t enjoy Scarlet quite as much but I still liked it.. I can’t wait for Cress!! Pivot Point was fabulous, I can’t wait for the sequel!!!
Oooooh Pivot Point and Cinder are great choices! I still need to read Dare You To 🙁 And I’m kind of desperately anxious to read Another Little Piece because it looks awesomely creepy!
I definitely still need to read If You Find me and Hex Hall too! 🙂
OMG! Brittany! Read Dare You To like NOW, im serious. It’s sooooooooooooo good. And Another Little Piece is SO original, it really snapped me into reading again because I was heading towards a slump! I can’t wait for you to read it! Actually… just really all four 😛
Pivot Point, If You Find Me and Another Little Piece are all on my TBR pile for the rest of this year. Clockwork Angel was great, and I loved Dash & Lily when I read it last year, as it was so funny. Great list!
Oh, I hope you love them Hollie! They are FANTASTIC! Dash & Lily was just so unexpected for me. I didn’t think I would love it so much and I ADORED IT!
I LOVED Pivot Point. So good. The rest of these I still really need to read. Great picks!
Thanks Alise! Pivot Point was remarkable right? I cannot wait till the second book!!!
Yes to Cinder! And I really want to read Hex Hall, I’ve heard good things about it.
Oh Hex Hall is fabulous but the second and third books are even better. The whole series is hilarious and fun and incredibly easy to read!!!!
Cinder and Clockwork Princess are on my list too. Loved Dare You Too and I have Pivot Point and Another Little Piece at home waiting for me to read them. Glad to hear they are favorites worthy!
OH Pivot Point and Another Little Piece have blown away most debuts I’ve read(except for If You Find Me)… they are fantastic. Both authors are auto buys for me because of it!!!!
Most of these I haven’t read, although I started Clockwork Prince, Beautiful Creatures and Dare You To. Can’t really comment on them other than to say I like what I’ve read so far.
I loved Dash and Lily, though.
Good choices!
I hope you enjoy them Tammy!!! Dash & Lily was phenomenal for me… it was so unexpected and actually one of my all time favorites now 😀
