Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is  a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish.

Seriously?! This topic was HARD! I always think all of the books are going to be at the top of my TBR… and then they get pushed back. This is what I came up with. Now lets just see if at the end of Spring I have read even half of them 😛 And I’m not adding any new releases to this list… just TBR that I already own.

Top Ten Books At The TOP Of My Spring 2013 TBR list

Beautiful Darkness  Beautiful Disaster  uglies  The Chronicles of Narnia  Speechless
Beautiful Darkness by Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl
*I need to finish this series by June. That’s my goal
Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire
*There are so many mixed reviews on this, I’m dying to read it.
Uglies by Scott Westerfeld
*I just HAD to have this book… 9 months ago. Le sigh.
The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis(omnibus)
*I need to at least read the first book. I’ve already read this series but LOVED it.
Speechless by Hannah Harrington
*Heard great things about this one… and I need to start clearing out my Kindle.

Hades  If I Stay by Gayle Forman  The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer  The Immortal Rules  Angelfire
Hades by Alexandra Adornetto
*I want to have this series finished up by June as well.
If I Stay by Gayle Forman
*I have just heard amazing things a million times over so I need to get started!
The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
*I’d like to have this series caught up by the time the third book comes out
The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa
*I’m itching for vampires and this sounds AMAZING! (plus it’s on my Kindle)
Angelfire by Courtney Allison Moulton
*Another e-book… and I love, LOVE angels

Well that’s what I’ve come up with. Honestly the amount of series I have lying around that are half-finished or not even started is unreal. I need to start some of these. I need a whole new bookshelf just for my TBR… it’s sick. Speaking of which, I just put myself on a book budget… hopefully that will curb some of this compulsive buying. I’d like to stick to only buying sale books(physical & ebooks) for a while because I need to start clearing these selves off.

What books are at the top of your TBR? Please link up!!

Happy Reading!

  1. I love the Chronicles of Narnia! I find it’s one of those series that stand up to repeated re-reads. Also, If I Stay was perfect and broke my heart into about a million pieces. I have a lot of friends who didn’t like it quite as much as I did, but I loved the main character so much because she reminded me of myself.

    • Narnia can absolutely stand up for re-reads… just a great series. It’s a big commitment at once though, lol.

      Thanks for stopping by Stormy!

    • I’ve been trying to go back and read the “older” dystopians I’ve missed. I find the recently published ones are kind of repeats so I’d like to read some of the ones that started it all(I’m currently reading The Giver now!!). Thanks so much for stopping in Nikki 🙂

  2. I didn’t really enjoy Beautiful Disaster, the first 40% was good, but from there on out, it was dire. However I know some people liked it, so I hope you are one of them.

I need to start the Beautiful Creatures series soon.

I LOVED The Immortal Rules and I hope you do too. The MC is just all around kick-ass and the vampires are really badass.

I still need to read the Narnia series and Speechless. I read The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, but never read any of the others.

    Great list! 🙂

    • OH I’ve heard so many mixed things on the Beautiful Disaster and honestly, I think that’s the only reason I want to read it now. I just want to see where I’ll fall, lol. Beautiful Creatures is amazing, I hope you love it!!!

      Thanks for stopping in Livvy!
