Update: I’m not totally sure if I will meet my goal of 5 books. Beautiful Creatures was almost 600 pages(my fault for picking a HUGE book for Bout of Books, lol) but I’m happy with my progress thus far. If I only read 4 books I’m totally fine with that because I really wanted to get Beautiful Creatures in time for the movie and I’ve found a new favorite series out of it 😉

Wrap Up:
Well I didn’t exactly meet my goal! As far as the twitter chat was concerned I fell asleep dead early on Wednesday night and Saturday my mother called, distracted me and when I got off the phone it was 10 minutes till finish 🙁 I also didn’t comment on 5 blogs per day. I commented on at least 1 blog each day but not 5. I do plan on visiting as many wrap up posts as I can though! As far as books go I have 3 complete & one 89% finished. I didn’t reach my goal of 5 but I totally feel accomplished regardless. Beautiful Creatures was a bigger challenge than I anticipated for a work week :S That being said, I totally don’t regret reading that… I loved it and I wanted to read it so badly. I’m also almost done Dash & Lily’s but I just couldn’t get to the end last night… I cannot be book hung over on a Monday morning, lol. Anyways all in all this was a very satisfying Bout of Books and I definitely plan on participating next time 🙂 Please link me up your wrap ups !!!

Yup… there we have it. Kindle Daily Deals is my book crack. I only just recently discovered it… and in two weeks I have bought at least ten daily deals. I’m obsessed. The $1.99 or the $2.99 just lures me in. My poor Kindle app is overflowing with books that I will probably not read till 2018. And don’t even get me started on free Kindle books…

Oh NetGalley is a dangerous, dangerous place. LOL! Actually, one of my books is from an indie author who I love, but none of them are specifically review copies. If I can, I like to sneak books in from indie authors to give them an little extra exposure since my site doesn’t normally get a lot of high traffic.
I lovvvveee indie authors 🙂 That’s such a great idea because there is so much traffic for Bout of Books!!!

Thanks Angie! Did you ever check out Netgalley or Edelweiss? I dabbled in that first and that’s actually how I get my review books, other than a few author requests! Edelweiss didn’t approve me until December but I always get something on Netgalley approved every now and then – it’s worth a shot if you are interested!

Too many books and too little time. I totally understand the problem with Kindle daily deals.
I only just found out about Kindle daily deals… thank goodness for that… my Kindle would be much worse haha.
I caved today & bought my first Kindle Daily Deal since Christmas. It is crazy addicting.
I really want to make time to read Beautiful Creatures before the movie comes out as well. Plus the page count you have so far is great, even if you don’t meet your book count.
