2014 Prequel & Sequel Challenge

*Hosted by Writer Grrl Reads & Novel Heartbeat*

As soon as Melissa told me about this challenge, I knew I HAD to participate. If my TBR is bad, my outstanding series are even worse. This is such a great, fun, unique idea for a challenge because it’s based on a point system so I can’t wait to participate!

If you’re interested, please click on the links above to go to the sign up post. It has all the details and you can sign up there!

Now, what I am about to show you is disturbing at it’s finest. I’ve went through my series and decided to not finish quite a few of them, and also I didn’t list any series that the next book I need to read is in 2015 (because it won’t apply to this challenge anyway). What’s scary is that I know this list is going to get bigger and bigger as the year goes on, because obviously I am going to find a ton of new series to start!

The goal I hope to achieve is AMATEUR: 25-50 POINTS. Hopefully I will be on the higher scale of that, we will see! I will be updating my progress on here as I go, and I set up a Goodreads shelf as well where I will tag any of the books that I’ve completed towards the challenge!

That was scary wasn’t it? Is your series TBR as out of control as mine? Are you participating? What’s your goal?

  1. This is an AMAZING list. Seriously. I know it’s long (trust me, mine would be worse!) but I absolutely ADORE how organized it is! Can you please write my list for me too???? Actually, no, scratch that, I think I’d rather not see it in writing *shudder*

You have a lot of series on your list that I’m planning to read too!

    • Thanks Melissa 🙂 If you really want me to write your list for you I would definitely do it!! Lord knows I love this kind of stuff for some reason haha. I also made a very complex Excel spreadsheet for this challenge. Seriously… it’s much to complex for something like this haha. You may use it if you like darling, although… I think it’s more work to complete the spreadsheet that read the books haha!

I’m glad we have some of the same series! I always feel like I’m never up to date with everyone so it’s nice to know I’m not alone 😀
